How Pricing Works
Most local moving jobs are based on hourly crew rates, minimum hours, drive-time rules, fuel fee, and additional service needs. Packing materials, credit card payment, hoisting, storage, and extra floor protection may affect the final total.
Local Moving Fees
These fee notes should be reviewed before booking so the customer understands what may affect the final moving total.
$10 per hour on top of the hourly rate when the customer pays by credit card.
For California local moves, the time between origin and destination is doubled to cover the return ride.
A $20 flat fuel fee applies to local moves unless otherwise stated in the estimate.
Overtime rates apply after 8 hours on the clock.
Local moving services have a 3-hour minimum.
Hoisting fee is $150 per item, per floor.
Masonite for hardwood or plastic rolls for carpet are charged at $10 per linear foot.
Storage is charged at $0.50 per cubic foot per month.

Pro Movers Inc. offers Express Direct Deliveries, also known as dedicated loads, and discounted longer-term delivery options. Rates below are based on the 400 cubic foot minimum.
